Samaira Mohapatra had participated in 34th ITF Taekwondo National Junior Championships held at Goa on 28 Dec 2019. She won a Bronze Medal. She is a black stripe holder.
The Khelo India Youth Games 2020 were held at Guwahati (Assam) from 10th to 22nd January 2020. Sixteen state teams participated under the sport Lawn Bowls. Six of our school students represented Delhi and won Silver medal under two event categories. Girls Tanvi Chopra IX-B Preksha Khate X-O Ayana Keshwani VII-J Boys Vikram Rajak VIII-I Krishnav Sharma XI-V Vivaan Goyal IX-F Delhi secured the overall Third position in the Khelo India Youth Games 2020 Lawn Bowl Event.
Zone U14 Girls Basketball inter DPS Championship was held at DPS International Saket from 10th -12th Oct 2019. DPS RK Puram Won the 1st Runner Up Trophy and Qualified for the Nationals to be held at DPS Vasant Kunj.
As per the Circular No. PS/ADE/PSB/2021/1665-1670 dated 21st April 2021 from Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Delhi Public School, R.K.Puram along with its junior Schools at Vasant Vihar and East of Kailash will be closed with effect from 22.04.2021. Activities will start from Monday. Schedule of the activities will be put up on the school website and/or will be intimated through the school official email.
YOUTH PARLIAMENT CLUB, DPS RK PURAM 27th April, 2021: The YP Club of DPS, R. K. Puram conducted a training session on 27th April for the upcoming Simulation of All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) to be held soon in the academic year 2021. The session which lasted for about 40mins saw almost 100% attendance of the participants and was attended by Ms. Vandana Chandoke along with Ms. Swati Verma who motivated the participants and organised the simulation. The session which was chaired by Arnab Kumar Mullick and Tanmay was aimed at guiding the participants through the procedure and format of the committee and to motivate them to speak and stay active in the club. The session also highlighted the participants about the MUN/YP Club of our school. In the end, questions from the participants were taken up and addressed by the executive board. Ms. Swati Verma also provided her input and motivated students to speak as much as possible. The participants were asked to read through the background and reach out incase of any queries. This was a really fruitful session for the teachers, executive board members and participants.
